Sorry, I should have said "for Visual Studio". I don't want people to have 
to install Cygwin to compile box for windows, and I don't think Charles 
does either.

I'll try and make autoconf detect platform-specific stuff and try to get 
cross-compilation working from cygwin to Visual Studio.
