Client test results (version 0.09_plus2_r462):
---------------------------------------------------------------------
1. bbackupd.exe -i reports "Created Box Backup service", but does not come back to command prompt,
have to Ctrl+C. I am guessing that it is trying to connect to a non-existing bbackupd, since there
are a lot of local pipe/socket errors in the Event Viewer.
2. Tons of SetReplacementFileAttributes and ChangeDirAttributes commands are generated after
Cygwin client (FAT) -uploaded backup repository is backed up with native Win32 client.
3. So far no SLL timeout during a large file diff (KeepAlive called properly).
4. So far no SSL error after Send Finished() (will keep testing the heck out of this one, perhaps
I will replicate).
5. Non-English characters in folders/files.
- both English-only and non-English folders backed up correctly
- both English-only and non-English files backed up correctly
- non-English folders display correctly in bbackupquery
- non-English files display correctly in bbackupquery
- can change directory to non-English folders
- both English-only and non-English folders restore correctly through restoring a parent folder
- both English-only and non-English folders restore correctly through direct folder name
6. No reload of store info file (bbackupd active continuously).
- object store info file saved properly
7. After store info file reload (bbackupd shutdown/restart).
- object store info file loaded properly
- very small number of remote folder information requests, as expected
- changes, additions, deletions handled properly
- object store info file re-saved properly
8. babckupd crashed after stopping service. EventLog: Faulting application bbackupd.exe, version
0.0.0.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x0022e5e0.
Outstanding job, Chris.
