The check should run in the foreground. Could you run it and capture the
full output for us?

Probably not deleted because housekeeping is crashing. Could you please
keep the account around for now, maybe create a new account if you have to
but I'd like to investigate what's going on here as there may be more than
one problem.
What exact version of Box Backup are you running on the server and the
client, and which platforms are they on?
