I think it's already implemented, but it requires you to compile 
bbackupquery with libeditline (that doesn't support international 
characters) or libreadline (that we are not allowed to distribute because 
of license incompatibility), so you have to compile it yourself.

That's weird. Can you report the exact error message and which version of 
bbstored and bbstoreaccounts you're running?
