[Box Backup] Interpreting error/status in logs

Hi all,
I have run BoxBackup now for many years and it has acutally saved me, when a disk crashed.

Just recently I have setup the NotifyAdmin script to actually work and send an email *blush*, it required
a working mail system. I run bbackupd and bbstored on the same machine, and bbstored writes to an external USB-drive (which is then rsynced
away from the building).

Now, for the last three days, in the morning, I get an email that says "backup-error". I look into the log file, and see this:
(excerpt from syslog, grep:ed on bbstored and bbackupd)

----

At 09:05 a file fails to upload. It's 200MB my mailbox from Thunderbird. Thunderbird is always running. Locking problem? No email sent.
At 09:10 an excenption is caught and the email is sent.

Similiar pattern all three days, and the same file.

A couple of questions:
1) Is the file eventually uploaded?
2) When is it uploaded, can I see that in my logs?
3) Can I configure timeouts so that this doesn't happen?
4) I would like a daily or weekly status report if there is any persistent errors and preferrably an indication on how many files
that are backed up. Just to get a visual conformation that everything is OK. Is that possible somehow?

Thanks!

Magnus Homann
